| With my luck I have been having lately, getting a flat tire shouldn't surprise me. I was able to limp back home to do the repairs myself. Don't ask me why my lazy ass didn't decide to take it to the shop like most of my friends would think I would do.
Some people get nails... I am too snobby for nails so that wouldn't do for me. Nothing but screws for me.
Jacking the car up. Jackstands in place with the Jack left in place and the car's weight preloaded on it(Don't bother to ask me what that means, I have no idea what I just said...)
It would have sucked if there were no Jack/Jackstands around.
 Flat tire on the ground.
 Stupid screw...

 Pumping air back in...
 Tadaa...
Stay tuned for my next post, I'll post about how my piss poor patch job today failed on me and left me stranded on the 101...
Misc photos... all photos taken on this post were on a D40 w/ 105mm f/2.8 VR

| a continuation of "fun at work"... We had another mishap pushing a 2000lb rack of storage up the ramp a month ago. Same story as the last episode. We had to yell and look for the buff shipping/receiving guy to come help us poor scrawny guys out... Our leaning tower of Milliana. I don't think he was too happy to see me walk around taking pictures while he was holding the tower in place...
Poor floor tile :(

| 3/31 - Minnesota Went there to visit a high school friend for the weekend and decided to satisfy my curiosity of burgers over in White Castle I have had ever since I saw the movie Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle. MMMmmm...
O.O
The food was good but I had the after-effects of all of it for the rest of the night... Yea, I think this is probably a once every few years kinda thing for me. Maybe If I didn't gorge myself all at once with all that... We also went to an Indian Casino called 'Mystic Lake' for some nickel slot fun(ya, we are lame). Highlight of the whole trip would have to be when Peter hit some sort of bonuse that netted him 600 dollars on a machine next to mine. Only to be followed 15 seconds later with me hitting another 600 in some bonus game that I hit. I don't think we'll ever see that kind of luck again, the casinos surely have us marked for life now.
3/12 - Laguna Seca It was a great day down in Laguna Seca, went down to Embassy Suites down in Seaside the night before for a good nights rest for the fun day at the track.
Brian and Dave chilling near/in my 'comfy' car.
Droooolzzz....
It was one hot day...
 Turn 3
My poor tires... :(
All in all it was a great day down in sunny monterey. I signed up for the novice group again since it's only my 2nd time out on the track. My instructor turned out to be a great teacher and I was able to learn alot that day. Only downside was that he had a cough and we were using an in-cockpit transmitter so I think I caught his cough that has been affecting me for the past 4 weeks and counting. | | |
| Went to Stow Lake over at Golden Gate Park today to get a much needed change of pace and fresh air. Seagulls everywhere...
I wouldn't mess with this one... Killer Seagull... Rawr...
I don't think they know about the killer seagull that's around...
This person is safe because she gots a watchdog to wtfpwn the killer seagull...
Isn't this bird's feet cool? They can dive underwater using those feet to hide from the killer seagull...
There were bird watchers there that told me these blue herons are touching their beaks and that's how they tell that blue heron babies are on the way. They look like they will be safe though, they are at least twice the size of that killer seagull flying around the lake...
